Question of the year (from a #WebAnalyst POV): “How often is a brand mentioned inside AI conversations when there’s no click?” Answering that with concrete data has been…complicated. Many of my clients’ measurement stacks are stuck in the pre-LLM era (focused on pageviews, sessions, and other metrics that rely on a user clicking through to a site). However, #AISearch is rewriting the rules. Your content can be seen and cited by an #LLM without ever being clicked (60% of searches end without a click to any website as answers are delivered directly within search results). Brands need a way to measure that visibility. Think of it like “Google Search Impressions” but for the AI world. The challenge? Traditional web analytics tools (#GoogleAnalytics, Piwik PRO, Adobe Analytics) aren’t designed for an AI-first internet. So, this kind of analysis is not readily available today (at least, not without complex data engineering and manual KPI extraction). Adding to the confusion, most LLMs and AI-driven search engines haven’t released native analytics tooling to help brands understand how they're being represented in AI outputs. So, for now, we’re bridging the gap ourselves. At Phase2, we’re actively tracking emerging tools to help measure AI visibility, from presence in zero-click summaries to how brand language is interpreted and echoed in AI-generated answers. As one of Yext’s most trusted partners, we’ve had the opportunity to get an early preview to #YextScout, one of the first tools making this type of analysis possible and actionable. While it’s still in the early stages, Scout represents a promising step forward in helping organizations monitor how they show up in the new AI search landscape.
