Meet Dawn Simmons and Katie DeRouen, a mother and a sister to Lindy Rae Simmons. ?? In December 2021, Dawn and Katie’s worlds changed forever when they lost Lindy, her brother Christopher, and her sister Kamryn to a drunk driver. After the accident, our team was connected with the family as they worked to honor the memory of their loved ones. Dawn shared what a huge fan Lindy was of Kendra Scott, always wearing her Elisa Necklace in berry glass. After several successful fundraising events, Dawn and Katie worked with Kendra and our design team to create a piece that represented Lindy. The Lindy Rae necklace, an iteration of Lindy’s cherished Elisa necklace, launched Holiday 2024 and the rest is history. We’re so grateful for our relationship with this incredible family, and that Kendra Scott has played a small role in Lindy’s story. ??
