La Veta Village isn’t just a new housing site. It’s a powerful example of what’s possible when vision meets collaboration. Located in Old Towne Orange, this project brings 20 beds of permanent housing to families and seniors experiencing homelessness—combining restored historic homes with newly built ADUs. The dedication also honored HomeAid’s founding CEO, Mike Lennon, whose legacy continues to shape communities across the country. This is what building hope looks like. ?? With leadership from Shea Homes and support from dozens of trade partners, three new cottages, a pantry, and laundry space were added to the campus. These homes will support women and children, continuing Shepherd’s Gate’s mission of safety, healing, and stability. ??
